American Estimate Hub

Construction Estimating for Texas Projects

Remote construction cost estimating and quantity takeoffs for Texas projects, prepared from your digital plans for contractors, developers and owners.

Texas builds across a wide range of conditions, from master-planned suburbs outside Dallas鈥揊ort Worth and Houston to commercial and industrial work along the I-35 corridor. American Estimate Hub supports Texas contractors, subcontractors and developers with quantity takeoffs and cost estimates prepared entirely from digital plans and specifications.

Our team works remotely. We do not have Texas offices or local field staff. You upload your drawings, we review the scope, and we deliver organized takeoffs and estimates that your team can price, adjust and carry into your bid. Regional factors such as foundation design, energy code adoption and local material availability are documented as assumptions, so you can confirm them against your own market knowledge.

What shapes a Texas estimate

  • Expansive clay soils and foundation design: Much of central and north Texas sits on expansive clay soils. Foundations are often post-tensioned slabs or slabs with deepened grade beams, sometimes with drilled piers. We quantify tendons, beam lengths, slab areas and pier counts from the structural drawings, and we flag geotechnical requirements such as moisture conditioning or select fill when the plans call for them.
  • Rapid suburban and multifamily growth: Fast growth around the major metros keeps demand high for single-family production homes, wood-frame multifamily and retail pads. For repeat plans, we structure takeoffs by plan type and elevation so builders can reuse quantities across lots and phases.
  • Wind and coastal requirements: Projects along the Gulf Coast may fall under windstorm requirements administered by the Texas Department of Insurance. Where drawings specify windstorm-rated assemblies, hurricane straps or rated openings, we break those items out so they are priced separately rather than buried in general framing.
  • Local energy and building code adoption: Texas cities adopt and amend model codes on their own schedules, so insulation, fenestration and mechanical requirements can differ between jurisdictions. We take off what the drawings and specifications show and note where a local amendment may affect scope.
  • Heat and scheduling effects: Long, hot summers affect concrete placement, curing and crew productivity. We note specified hot-weather concreting provisions and admixtures so your team can account for them in pricing and scheduling.

Frequently asked questions

Do you have an office in Texas?

No. American Estimate Hub works remotely from the digital plans and specifications you provide. We do not have Texas offices or local staff, which lets us support projects anywhere in the state through the same upload-and-quote process.

Can you take off post-tensioned slab foundations?

Yes. When the structural drawings show tendon layouts, we quantify slab area, beam lengths, tendon counts and lengths, and related items. Final tendon design is often by a specialty supplier, so we note any items that depend on shop drawings.

Do your estimates include Texas labor and material pricing?

Pricing scope is confirmed with each quote. Many clients want quantities only and apply their own pricing. Others ask for a priced estimate, in which case we document the pricing basis and assumptions so you can check them against your local market.
