American Estimate Hub

Industrial estimates for heavy slabs, long spans, and serious utilities.

Industrial construction estimates for warehouses, manufacturing plants, and distribution centers, from heavy foundations to process utilities.

Industrial buildings put their cost in different places than commercial work: thick slabs on grade with tight flatness requirements, equipment foundations, tilt-up or precast panels, long-span steel joists and girders, and power and process utilities sized for production.

We measure those systems in detail. Slab concrete by CY with joint layout by LF, equipment pads and pits by element, embedded plates and anchor bolts by count, steel by TON with connection counts, and site work including heavy-duty paving, truck courts, and underground utilities.

Estimates are organized by CSI division with clear separation between building scope, site scope, and owner-furnished equipment, so contractors and owners can see what is carried and what is excluded.

Who it is for

  • General contractors and design-builders
  • Industrial developers and owners
  • Concrete, steel, and MEP subcontractors
  • Engineers and owner representatives

What's included

  • Heavy concrete: Thickened slabs, equipment foundations, pits, trenches, and tilt-up panels in CY, with rebar by weight and forming by SF of contact area.
  • Structural steel and joists: Columns, girders, joists, bracing, and metal deck by TON, LF, and SF, with connection and anchor bolt counts.
  • Building envelope: Insulated metal panels, tilt-up wall area, roofing by the square, and overhead and dock doors by count and size.
  • Power and lighting: Switchgear, distribution, feeders by LF, busway, high-bay lighting by count, and branch circuits.
  • Process and fire protection utilities: Compressed air, process piping, and plumbing by LF and fittings, with sprinkler scope identified where shown.
  • Heavy site work: Mass grading by CY, heavy-duty paving by SF, truck courts, and storm and utility trenching by LF.

Frequently asked questions

Do you estimate pre-engineered metal buildings?

Yes. We take off foundations, slabs, and anchor bolts in detail, and handle the metal building package based on the information provided, typically noting the building supplier scope separately from erection and accessories.

Can you include process equipment?

We quantify foundations, utilities, and connections for equipment shown on the drawings. Owner-furnished equipment is listed as an exclusion unless you ask us to carry it.

How long does an industrial estimate take?

It depends on building size, the number of trades, and drawing completeness. We confirm turnaround in the quote after reviewing your documents.
